I wandered into the Cream Cafe wed nite with the S. Assas for the regulation 'jam session' which always draws a few heads. We noticed it was a bit busier than usual, and that everyone was really excited. While we were rocking out to the dude wailing out Brown Eyed Girl, someone pointed out to me the guy standing in front of me.

"That's James Morrisson'. Apparently he's well famous back home, he even played the Diana trubute thing one well-informed Brit ex pat pointed out. Then he got up on stage and started jamming with the boys, he stayed up there for an hour or so busting out some of his own tunes and a few golden oldies.

Afterwards we kept it real at a friend's appartment nearby and there was JM too, chillin on the real. Turns out he's down here on holiday with his mum, brother and sister. I asked him if he could bust out a rendition of 'You're beauti-faaal! You're beauti-fal!' but apparently that's not him, that's the other one. How was I supposed to know? I haven't even got Sky at the moment, I'm out of the loop.

Anyhows, he seems like a cool chap. I congratulated him for doing what Oasis never could in breaking America, he said thanks. Word is he's gonna get musical once again in the Cream this sat nite when Poems from the Vortex (formely known as The Plague) are playing live. See you there!
