I Fought the Law
I fought the filth, the babylon, the 5-0, the rozzers, the cops, the law, the po-po, the peelers, the beast. Call em what you like.
I tried to go for a splash with Adrian Buchan and Bottle Thompson in Biarritz today. The lifeguards wouldn't let the boys paddle out at Cote Basque becasue of 'pollution'. So they drove to La Barre in their wetties and I met them there. There was a lifeguard/police dude (in France the lifeguards mysteriously are alos the army/police/some strange combination of both.) We sprinted around the back of the car park and down the end of the beach trying to eavde him but he came running down the dap in his little blue outfit blowing his little whistle.
"Why's it closed?" demanded I.
"Coz it is" went he.
"Why's that then?" furthered I
"Pollution" went he.
"What kind of pollution?" asked I
No suitbaly reply came. After a minor off where i felt like the small assembled crowd were on my side, where we shared the righteous indignation of the common man against the overlords.
Then Bots got a cheeseburger Happy meal from McDo and we left quietly stage left.
