L'homme put got on passenger jet in Belfastsyboyz to Paris Charles de Merde, where he then transferred to train, then another train, finally reaching Biarritz SNCF train station late last friday night. Myself and the leafblower picked him up in a hire care, and after a brief stop across the border for essential supplies like cashew nuts and mineral water, we commenced a mossive drive direction Algarve-alo. I steered the Laguna through the moutainous Basque region up on to the high plateau, reaching Valladolid around 5am, wenceforth the Leafblower, still having not kipped drove us to destination, Lagos, with an impressive descent into fog shrouded Portugese wilds, eventually arriving at midday. Luckily we had a scratcher lined up and went to sleep until the next morning. Gony and his mama and papa were in the Algrave too, we shredded a beautiful right point in the region with crystal clear water and only a few guys out, with Gony's dad Juan Luis videoed Gony and Marlon ripping it up. The Leafblower dropped in on me and got an intereference, which was awkward. He hasn't really got through a heat since Quik Cup circa 1997.

It was my first trip to the Algarve, and it was ace. Not too many people around, great food, nice weather and something to surf everyday, if you could be arsed. Otherwise we mostly watched German MTV, which is kind of exactly as you'd imagaine it. They really like a band called die artzen where the lead singer looks a bit like an peroxide asexual android. He was our favourite.

The Zubi's bailed while we went to Lagos for NYE, which was average. On the way home an inspired decision was taken for a cheeky look at Lisboa. We stayed at Bazuka's apartment right downtown which was wicked, went out to the Bairro Alto, saw some jaaaaaaaz, eventually ended up in Lux, Portugal's best nightclub. It was a really good night, only slightly marred by the strange decision by the Leafblower and Bazuka to bring some dudes back at 6am...
