Brits piled in yesterday for the ISA Champs
The Brits piled in yesterday afternoon and all things are running smoothly leading up to the comp. Fellow Nike 6.0 team riders Luis Eyre and Toby Donachie came along with them and are both frothing for the start of the comp. Have had a couple of surfs at the contest peak and early standouts have been the usual teams: Aussies, South Africans and the Hawaiians have all been surfing really good. The contest was officially called on today at the prestigious parade which ran through the centre of Hossegor down to the Casino where we were greeted with the traditional pouring of the sand speeches and sheeps on sticks... First heat starts tomorrow at 8 a.m. at Le Penon and two Brits will be in the first heat, Arron Evans for the under 18's and George Picking for the under 16's.
