With September a few days away and thus the ‘official’ start of autumn nigh upon us, thoughts inevitably turn towards thicker, hollower, dreamier belts of Biscay stoke ditch.
Sometimes, we all have to take a look at ourselves and ask the difficult questions. Am I getting barrelled as much as I should? Am I all doing all it takes to get in the pit in a regular basis? Is my quiver tunnel-tuned and primed to squeak under, through and out of the gaper-of-the-season? Could I do more?
Marc Lacomare, on the other hand, is doing his very very utmost to lead a consistently tunnelled existence.
You are probably not going to turn into Marc this autumn.
But you could try being a wee bit more like him.
