SURF EUROPE 79 OUT NOW!

Surf Europe 79 is in the vinegar strokes… It is coming soon.
It’s not just the last issue of our awesome magazine to come out in 2010, it’s also celebration of print media, of surf boarding, of reading words and perhaps more appropriately, of looking at pictures.

It didn’t come without a human cost though. I personally went through the spectrum of human emotions to complete this body of work and the Harry Rednapps (bags under my eyes) got worse, and I grew a couple more wrinkles. The Photo Ed smoked at least 400 ciggies making this mag, and lost 57 more hair follicles. The new ginger-haired art director muttered and mumbled and tried to grass us up for being late with stuff. But anyway, we got there in the end. Please go out and buy it, read and cherish it, have a great time with it. Or, on the other hand, fuck it off completely and get a regular Big Mac Meal for pretty much the same money.

But if you do decide to invest, here is some of the tremendous stuff you might expect to own a copy of…

Ian Walsh at massive Cloudbreak by Andrew Shield.

A fairly missable article by me about the O’Neill CWC Santa Cruz, but with fab pics by Sergio Villalba…

Pretty solid (in length not quality) article about ripping France and Portugal this autumn by the amazing Gaz B…

Interview with rising Portuguese talent Felipe Jervis by Ricardo Bravo, photos by Charlie P…

There’s even an article on places to go this winter, including the recently crap-at-cricket nation of Australia…

Plus photo gallery gnarl, in this case Taj at Bourdaines in France by Timo.

Knock yourselves out! Don’t knock one out, that would be weird…
