For the second year running, 19-year-old French ripper has stamped his name on the ASP specialty event at Bundoran, the Barefoot Wines Expression Session.
In a rapidly increasing swell, the defending champ Aliotti was able to take full advantage of the windy peaks and powerful sections thrown at him, using his broad aerial repertoire to defeat UK’s Oli Adams, Toby Donachie and fellow French competitor Tom Cloarec.
“I am so stoked !” Aliotti commented. “Ireland is now a special and lucky place for me. We had some amazing waves before the event and already I was stoked. Today although the conditions were tough at times I knew if I got the right section I had a chance. I’m really happy to have won again amongst some great surfers too. I’ll be back for sure.”
With this new win under his belt, Aliotti will now look to build momentum through the European Junior series starting in France in two weeks.
