From May 5th to 11th 2008, the Oxbow Pro World Longboard Tour will occur in Anglet, on the Basque Coast, for the French stage of this discipline world tour. Oxbow made this world tour reborn in order for it to become as good as the WCT level, the shortboard surf pro tour.

An Event which gathers the longboard world elite

The longboard discipline embodies boardsport tradition and myth. Nevertheless, this discipline has known how to evolve and how to represent a very fashionable surf style. The best longboarders in the world will be brought by the Oxbow surfers of Ben Skinner, who has been recently sacred European Champion, Duane de Soto, Eduardo Bagé and Antoine Delpero. These “Cavaliers” will show their talent and confront each other on one of the most intense and technical wave on the Basque Coast in order to succeed to the Brazilian Phil Rajman and earn the 50,000 dollar pris money.

The programme of events includes the celebration of the ancestral longboard practice and many festive animations. Longboarding has never been so up-to-date!
