Aerial wizard and current World No. 3 Taj Burrow has agreed to a new multi-year contract with his long-time sponsor Globe. After nearly 10 years of working together,Taj has become synonymous with the brand and inking a new footwear deal underscores Globe’s commitment to the highest levels of performance in the sport. “Yep, I’m really happy to continue riding for Globe,” said Burrow from his home in Yallingup, West Oz, “I’ve been with them for so long, and we’ve had some really good times making movies and hosting events. They’re so supportive of my career and the direction I’ve gone. I couldn’t imagine not riding for them.”

Taj’s new contract comes just in time for the delivery of his new signature sandal, the Taj360. In accord with Taj’s technical surfing, the Taj360 is Globe’s most technical sandal, featuring a full-length air cushion mid-sole for lightweight comfort and superior support.

In other Globe news, the Globe Fiji leg of the Dream tour unfortunately won’t be taking place this year despite another ace gig in 2008.
