Romain Cloitre wins Oakley Pro Junior consolidating his Pro Junior first place position

11 August, 2007 – The 17-year-old reunionais regularfoot took out the competition in glassy 2- to 3-foot conditions in Lacanau, France, defeating France’s Marc Lacomare and Guadeloupe’s Charly Martin in the final and gaining a wildcard entry into the 6* WQS Soöruz Lacanau Pro. The Oakley teamrider said, “I’m really happy to have won, to win here means something special to me. I’ve always felt well-received for the last three years here plus my sponsor Oakley is the title sponsor of the event!”. With already one victory under his belt this year at the Amado in Portugal, Romain is now ever closer to qualifying for the World Junior Championships in Narrabeen, Australia at the beginning of next year.
