The second stop on the ASP World Tour is under way at Bells Beach, incorporating the all new man-on-man elimination format.

Surf is currently around the three to four foot (1 metre) mark, and with conditions clearing up, competition is on. Rip Curl Contest Director, Damien Hardmen had this to say, “We’re planning to have a full day of waves so we plan on running Round 1, and with the new format providing zero room for error, our surfers will need to be on their game.”
