The countdown to Europe’s biggest surf, skate and music festival has officially begun. The Rip Curl Boardmasters will return to Newquay for a 27th year from 4-10 August 2008 for its biggest event to date and an epic week of world-class surfing and music.

This year’s events include a fierce 5* Men’s World Qualifying Series (WQS) surf contest and the UK leg of the Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Tour. Alongside the sporting action will be the Boardmasters trade village and Foster’s Beach Bar showcasing five nights of live music at Fistral beach.
