Reef Mixed Tape: Bobby Volume 1 Premieres Today

It is all systems go for the World Premiere of Reef’s first global surf movie, Reef Mixed Tape: Bobby Volume 1, which debuts tonight at the Wave House in San Diego, CA. Following the World Premiere in San Diego, the film will go on tour premiering to crowds at 8 stops coast-to-coast and in Hawai’i.

Also taking place tonight will be a live performance from Buddy Akai and an arsenal of DJ’s to keep the celebration going. All premiere tour locations are open to the public on a first come first serve basis with tickets sold at the door. Fuel TV will be on the scene at the World Premiere filming their infamous Blue Carpet Special that will air on June 25th, at 9:30pm.

This highly anticipated movie is a tell all story of 2006 ASP Rookie of the Year, Bobby Martinez also featuring Reef team riders Rob Machado, Mick Fanning, Ben Bourgeois, Brad Gerlach, Tonino Benson and many more incredible athletes.

“This is not your standard surf movie. Insane footage is taken to the next level with cutting edge graphics, editing and audio,” says Director, Pete Santa Maria. “This movie really shows how well rounded a surfer Bobby is by taking viewers beyond his contest surfing.”

Each event will be overflowing with giveaways thanks to the generous Reef Mixed Tape partners. The movie will find its way into local surf shops in mid-June and will be distributed exclusively by Koastal Media Distribution. Check out reefmixedtape.com for the full premiere tour schedule and more info on the movie.

Or head down to San Diego for the world premiere at Wave House, (3127 Ocean Front Walk, Mission Beach, CA 92109). Doors open 8pm.
