RASTA’S ANTI-WHALING CAMPAIGN TO CULMINATE AT BONDI

Following an epic 700km ocean odyssey tracing the trail of migrating humpback whales from Byron Bay, the group of anti-whaling environmental campaigners led by Dave Rastovich is on track to culminate at Bondi Beach this Thursday at 11am.

If you happen to be in town, an invitation has been extended to the public  to participate in the final paddle to shore of the 36-day adventure dubbed “Transparentsea”.

For more info on Rasta’s Transparentsea Voyage go to http://transparentseavoyage.com/ or to sign the petition click here: www.thepetitionsite.com/1/australia-keep-your-word-stop-japanese-whaling-in-the-southern-ocean-whale-sanctuary#at

On a related note, our company Art Director recently created a t-shirt design many mistakenly thought to be inspired by the mermaid-dating Rasta when the illustration is actually based upon the psychedelic song 1983 (A Merman I should Turn To Be) from Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland album. Nevertheless we still thought it would do nicely for the paddle-out occasion so you can buy yourselves one here:

And for anyone interested, here’s Jimi’s version:
