Nixon, for the first time, will be awarding The Nixon Tube Time Award to the surfer that spends the most time in one barrel during the Billabong Pro in Mundaka, Spain.

The award is a one-of-a-kind Ceramic Player which has been created to celebrate the return of this exclusive wave and event. It has been customised with three diamonds, three emeralds and three rubies, to represent the colours of the Basque Country and has a value of $US 10,000.

The Billabong Pro Mundaka taking place from3-14th October plays a crucial part in deciding world champions, an intense competition where tour leaders jostle for ratings points leading into the final two events of the year in Brazil and Hawaii.

Nixon has a long past of being a part of the Basque surf region and culture and is proud to be able to join in this unique event and celebrate the return of Mundaka.
