Massive swell to slam Jeffrey's Bay tomorrow
With waves forecast in the 8 to 10 foot region, the final day of competition could see some of the heaviest conditions ever surfed during a CT event at J-Bay.
There was little sign of any new swell filling in today but tomorrow waves are forecast to be in the 8 to 10 foot region. No CT event at J-Bay has ever run at that size so we decided to have a scratch around on the world wide web to see if we couldn't get an idea of what conditions might look like.
What we found was this barrel on the section known as Salad Bowls, which sits 300 metres further down the bay so just try to imagine what Supertubes looked like...
