While out sinking his rails into perfect offshore peaks on the west coast of Portugal earlier this week, Marlon Lipke ran into some shady old business going down at the beach that day: a speed boat with 3 massive motors, the guardia civil and a whole lot of confiscated “merchandise”.

“… I arrived on the beach and was chased away by a fully armed GNR (guns n Roses) officer, saying that I couldn’t surf on that beach today while waving his gun around. They were nice enough to tell me that I could drive to the beach next to it though and walk around to the wave I wanted to surf.”

By the looks of things it was definitely worth the walkaround.
