Indonesian ripper Marlon Gerber has signed a two-year sponsorship deal which will see him continue his relationship with Rusty surfboards and apparel until 2010.

“I’ve been with Rusty for six years already so we’re really tight – pretty much like family” said the stylish regular-foot. “I’m stoked to ride for a growing company that understands what surfers need.”

Bali’s thriving surf scene has produced a new crop of surfers who are pushing the limits of the sport on a global level. Marlon is riding on the crest of this wave and has been featured regularly in the international surf media as a result.

Marlon will continue to be based in Bali and compete on the Coca-Cola Indonesian Surfing Championship tour. He will also travel the world on surf trips with Rusty’s acclaimed International team that includes Jamie O’Brien, Jay Davies, and Josh Kerr.
