Following the huge success of his Modern Collective and Lost Altas hifi hits, Kai Neville has got straight back behind the lens and released the first teaser for his next film project, Dear Suburbia. You probably saw pics from those couple insane surf trips to Japan with Dane, Kolohe and John John, well, footage from those typhoon swells will be in there and no doubt much more radness.

This year Kai’s mixing it up a little and planning on releasing a book project to accompany the film, titled What Youth. The first installment of which is due out in June, and the film in August.

So who can you expect to see it other than Dane, Kolohe and John John? Well Jordy Smith, Julian Wilson, Craig Anderson, Mitch Coleborn, Chippa Wilson, Dusty Payne are the main surf heads to feature in the teasers so far.

Between now and then though, they’ll also be posting a bunch of regular content on their new website, www.whatyouth.com, in fact the first Prequel is already up there.
