As we reported last week, Australian teenage surf sensation Ellie-Jean Coffey recently sparked further controversy in women’s surfing by giving an interview on Australian national television where she openly admitted to using sex appeal to further her pro surf career, while defending the right for girls to express themselves however they see fit.

While some mums were clearly not very impressed with the sporting role model’s ideas, it seems that this year’s Reef Girl contenders took note and continued on their never-ending quest for that ever-elusive perfect bottom. Ellie-Jean will be pleased.
