What kinda fool goes shark watching in a blow up boat? Surely that’s just the stuff of blockbuster Hollywood films? Not anymore! We’re guessing they won’t be doing that again.

With the recent shark cull in Western Australia currently on hold and under review, the government is now hoping to extend the recent 3-month culling trial over the next three summers. In the last three months their drum lines have apparently caught over 100 sharks but none of them were Great Whites. The majority of the catch consisted of Tiger sharks. Nevertheless the immediate prospects for these ocean-going apex predators ain’t looking too rosy with this kind of scare-mongering footage probably doing little to help their case.
