Billabong Junior Pro Series

The Billabong Junior Pro Series Event ‘In Memory of Ronnie Burns’ was the final qualifying event in North America for the World Billabong Junior Championships.

The event took place at Kewalo Basin, Oahu, Hawaii on August 31st, 2006, and saw Billabong grom Leila Hurst take third place when she was out-surfed by Carissa Moore in the semi finals.

For their finals appearances both Coco Ho and Carissa Moore are invited to the World Billabong Junior Championships in North Narrabeen, Australia from January 1-8th 2007, along with all of the boy’s semi finalists.
