Here’s some news on big wave surfer/presenter Alex Cater signing with Oakley
Oakley are proud to announce the signing of Alex Cater; AKA ‘Alfy’ to the team. Alfy has been a major player in the Oakley Surfing Life Big Wave Awards and Billabong XXL Awards for the last few years. He won the Oakley Surfing Life Big Wave Awards in 2008 and is a real asset to the Oakley team.

The West Aussie has been working on his international profile and brings to the table not only his antics in big and small waves, but also the role of media host for a new motox/skate/surf/snow TV show airing on FUEL TV mid April. For the next two years Alfy plans to continue to chase down swells and slabs around the globe, compete in selected events, and work on his presenting role on FUEL TV.
“I’m really pumped to be a part of the Oakley team; they are really supportive of my goals and their eyewear is just awesome. With all that is going on in the world, it is just fantastic to have the support and commitment of such a strong global company. In return I want to work hard for the brand and set myself apart from the pack, while at the same time, really enjoying my surfing. This is the year of change, bring it on!”
