Go211 is proud to announce that 18-year-old Surfer and Australian native, Julian Wilson, has joined the Go211 professional team. Wilson will use Go211 for social networking and on-line video to communicate with his fans and post unique and personal content.
Wilson is one of the most exciting prospects to hit the surfing scene since Kelly Slater back in the early 90’s. His incredible talent was obvious from a very young age when he began competing at the age of 9. It was not long after this that he was picked up by a large international surf label at just 11 years old.
Since then, Wilson has been the most successful junior to come through the ranks of surfing in Australia, picking up a list of achievements like no other before him. His surfing accomplishments to date culminated in 2006, when at the age of 17 he won the World ISA Junior Surfing Title in Brazil, topping the most impressive line-up to ever attend the event.
“I’m very excited to be a part of Go211,” said Wilson, “I look forward to using this website to stay in touch with the action sport world while making a few new friends along the way.”
“We are very excited to have a surfer with Julian’s ability showcased for the Go211 community,” said Sean M. Aruda, CEO of Go211. “He’s a natural addition to the current Pro surfers within the Go211 Pro Team.”
The current Go211 Pro Team roster includes Danny Kass, Jeremy Jones, Christian Hosoi, Ross Powers, Holly Beck, Clay Marzo, Mary Osborne, Mike Losness, Seth Wescott and Kelly Clark, among others.
