The 2015 Billabong Ride of the Year nominees have just been announced in anticipation of the forthcoming WSL Big Wave Awards, and you can see all of them together here in one clip. You may well ask what Brad Domke’s doing in there on a skimboard, and what Albee Layer isn’t doing in there on this bomb at Jaws, which manages to make Shane Dorian’s Jaws entry here look almost tame; but still, this video makes for extremely impressive viewing, Dorian’s and Pablo Villaran’s Puerto Escondido entries in particular. Nominees have also been announced for biggest wave, best paddle wave, and best tube, and you can see them here on the WSL website.
