There are few pleasures in life simpler or sweeter than watching a dear friend suffer an ignominious mishap whilst surfing. There was humiliation for Sean Thompson and hilarity for Mick Corbett recently when the former stacked it on the rocks at North Point in Western Australia, right in front of the latter — a finalist in the recent Surfing Life Oakley Big Wave Awards — who just happened to capture it all on film. “It’s ok people!” said Sean in a recent Facebook post. “My boards in better shape than my ego…” Thanks to Surfing Life for the footage.
