We have Josh Pomer to thank for this footage, which was filmed in California in the early 2000s. He trawled through his archives and put together this edit a couple of weeks ago, apparently to celebrate the birthday of Elvis Presley. The connection, says Josh, is that Elvis was the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Tom Curren is the King of Style. He may also have been thinking — perhaps subconsciously — of Tosca’s ‘Chocolate Elvis’, which featured on the soundtrack to Sonny Miller’s classic movie Searching For Tom Curren. The point, either way, is that no link is too tenuous when you’re looking for an excuse to indulge in some Tommy C magic. Kelly Slater also shows his face towards the end.
