Relentless are never shy to push boundaries so it was for the second year running that the UK’s only Tow-At aerial contest hit the Relentless Boardmasters on Sunday. The UK boys were really on fire with Oli Adams, Alan Stokes, Reubyn Ash and Joss Ash being the standouts. In his quarter final Oli Adams stuck a super clean air reverse and a huge air nudging out Alan Stokes. He was unlucky to go down to Reubyn Ash in the semi who went on to reach Micah Lester in the final. The Aerial Assault contest uses jet ski’s to sling shot surfers into the waves, allowing them to hit the wave face with a ‘boost’ for maximum air. This gives the surfers a chance to pull massive airs that wouldn’t be possible in small waves.
