Adur Letamendia en route to Peru with a 10 Pukas foot surfboard

Adur Letamendia got the call recently to be the sole Euro representative in the ASP BWWT event in deepest, darkest, Peru. “Alex Gray got injured, so they gave me a spot last minute” said Adur, “I’m so stoked.”

The board is a 10′ x 21 5/16″ x 3 3/4″, Twiggy model shaped by Pukas foam mower Mikel Agote, and weighs a whopping 12 kilos.

Adur’s got the gun and got the sack to have a whale of a time in the mountainous waters of the famed Pico Alto. He got in touch from Madrid airport during a six hour layover, which he might put to use by doing some jeans shopping, in the menswear dept.

I mean, he can’t keep wearing the ones he borrowed from his sister, surely…

The swell forecast for Peru looks kinda code brownish….
