Here’s a wave from my 5 hour session yesterday. Kind of a bummer my filmer @coleyamane decided to load the camera in his water housing right when I caught it. Luckily @kazsano was filming from a different angle but stopped recording before I rode out of the white wash. I know some of you will doubt it was a make or not with this footage but I’m still psyched on it. Call it what you like — an over-rotated air 360, a 540 ridden out straight, a “wrapped truck driver 360” (as it was described by one online commenter), a scooped bus conductor reverse — this air by 17-year old Seth Moniz is radical for sure. The only problem is his filmer was busy loading his camera in its water housing at the time. I fucken’ hate it when that happens. Fortunately someone else (Kaz Sano) was on hand to capture the moment, although he stopped filming before Seth regained his balance and rode out the whitewash. I fucken’ hate it when that happens too. Does it count as a make? Well Seth says he rode out of it so we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, though he himself acknowledges that not everyone will believe him.
