The Coffins and the Ho’s, two of the best-loved sibling combos in all of Christendom. Add one Matthew Wilkinson into the mix, wave in the general direction of Italy (Chris Del Moro), then simmer in the Puerto Rican heat for about a week and you have yourself a highly enjoyable surf trip. Mason Ho, alas, couldn’t make the trip in person — which is to say he refused to leave the North Shore (see 4:49) — but he was there in spirit. Exploding coconuts were also on the menu, alcoholic beverages were served in shoes, bodyboarders were sprinkled liberally with spray, fireworks were fired out of various orifices and dull moments were conspicuous by their absence.
