Anastasia Ashley setting women’s surfing back twenty years? If women’s surfing is being set back by video clips such as her latest one, then it’s surely been a group effort — and I’m not talking about Alana. The surf media (ourselves included) who publish this stuff, the consumers who click on it, the brands who refuse to sponsor female surfers unless they have sex appeal and are willing to exploit it — they must all take their share of the blame.
