Californian Nic Vaughan’s wipeout from Jaws is horrific. Admirably deep and late from the take-off, he gets that death wobble bounce about half-way down, which ultimately throws him off the raft.

No penetration, no chance of a leap off to get a wee bit underwater. Just the horrendous bodysurf skip down the face, to flipped over, to 20ft Jaws lip to the face whilst lying on the surface.

Brutal.
