If you happen to be down in SW France next weekend and don’t mind watching a surf film or 10 then Anglet’s beachfront is awaiting! Yes, it’s all free, with comfy deck chairs / loungers available on site.

The annual Anglet Surf Film Festival will run from July 10 to July 13 with a hefty roster of surf-stoked cinema. The festival takes place right on the beaches of the Chambre d’Amour, with 3 projection sites, open-air screenings, surfing, movies, art and concerts – all entirely free and open to the public.

Here’s what the line-up is looking like, with live concerts in the evenings and art shows throughout the duration of the festival.
