After weeks and weeks of being slammed by North Atlantic storms, last week’s final winter storm surge (that caused so much coastal erosion in France and Spain) finally gave way to clear skies, offshore winds and plenty of swell. But everyone was anxious to know what all this XXL surf and beach erosion had done to the sandbanks? Well, Vincent Duvignac, Arthur Bourbon and a car load of Basque rippers (Indar Unanue Imanol Yeregui, Mikel Aguirre) who made the journey up to Les Landes especially, look like they found some fun ones – in fact some of the best drainers the SW France has seen since the beginning of winter.
