The latest instalment from Kepa Acero and his current solo road trip down the west coast of Africa finds the Basque desert nomad in good spirits and brimming with usual surf stoke despite the growing sound of voices inside his head!
Hearing news of a new swell on the horizon (with this winter’s relentless run a giant North Atlantic storms Kepa couldn’t have timed his surf trip better), he decides to make the 10-hour drive to a right-hand point he hasn’t surfed in years.
For someone who’s travelled to the Antarctic and back just at the thought of maybe finding a wave there, you know Kepa’s prepared to go to more or less any length just to satisfy his insatiable wave riding stoke.
