“It feels very unnatural after a long cold winter when you are approaching the hottest time of the year here in Europe,” reckoned Alex Botelho, “You hop on a plane and 18 hours later you are all of a sudden back in winter again! It’s like you’re punishing yourself and everyday you think of how warm it is back home, while you look out the rainy door and wrap yourself up in jackets and boots to face the wet and cold. Why am I doing this? After insisting a while, running up and down one of the longest countries in the world, driving and driving and driving, you might just get rewarded in the end. Then it all makes sense and you experience something that will make you want to stay in winter all year round.”
