As the 2008 ASP World Tour wraps its Australian leg, the world’s best surfers look ahead to the South Pacific for the next two events, before journeying to South Africa, the US, Europe, Brazil and Hawaii. Looking ahead to the European leg, the ASP, in conjunction with the events and the surfers, have decided that the originally published dates for the Billabong Pro Mundaka on the ASP World Tour site remain best. “We’re looking at moving event start dates to optimize the best swell windows, in the end the Events, Surfers and ASP agreed it was best for the sport to keep the published schedule as it stands,” Brodie Carr, ASP CEO, said.
