In a new series of short video profiles, French sun cream brand SeventyOne Percent
introduces you to another of their powerful French team rippers, Tristan Guilbaud.

“I’m Tristan Guilbaud, 23 years old from Vendée, France. I started surfing when I was 11 on a surfboard that my father made in our garage after coming back from a trip to Tahiti. At the age of 15, I moved to the South West of France to enter the high performance sport & study centre in Bayonne. I lived with the Beven family for 3 years until I graduated. Then I left for Australia for almost a year to improve my English and my surfing. I had some good results at some European Pro Juniors after that (finishing in the top 8 for the last three years) and now I’m starting the QS tour with the help of Yannick Beven as a personal trainer. But I also love to travel and discover new places, new waves that’s why putting together cool video edits remains a priority as well as competing, and of course enjoying every moment I get to spend with friends & family.”
