A video featuring Brazilian free surfer John Junior (who lives in Portugal) while on a trip to Morocco this winter. As you’ll be able to tell, they sure had plenty swell down there. But in this edit, film-maker Mireia Martinez wanted to focus on two contrasting realities in this North African region: the wonderful exotic side with all its colours, majestic landscapes and perfect rippable waves, and then the much sadder and uglier side with many people living in poverty and of course the huge problem of plastic waste which persists in this part of the world as it does pretty much everywhere these days.
