The best wave ever ridden — that was the (admittedly rather large) claim made by CJ Hobgood (amongst others) on Kolohe’s behalf after this almighty barrel to almighty alley-oop combo, completed in Portugal just a few hours before Kelly Slater’s historic 540/720. The footage was kept closely under wraps, but with the June 2nd release of Kolohe’s What Youth movie, Brother, fast approaching, it’s now been made available for the world to see. Appetisers don’t come much tastier.
