Ok, so there’s the usual blurb about big wave surfers being calculated risk takers, all the preparation that goes into surfing every swell etc., which we’ve all heard a hundred times before, but the episode does end up putting everything into context at the point where Jamie Mitchell paddles over to Pete Mel’s boat to warn him about the sneaker set that just rolled through… and then there’s the priceless expression on Mark Healey’s face as he’s about to take the second one on the head.
