As this year’s only new World Championship Tour event, the Drug Aware Pro will hopefully inject some much-needed fresh interest into the pro surfing lineup next month. Red Bull as usual get the ball rolling with their latest instalment of 21 Days.

As the second of now three world tour stops to take place in Australia, Red Bull have not surprisingly opted to profile a further two Aussies. This time Josh Kerr and Taj Burrow. As two of the tour’s most progressive competitors it’s a thrilling match-up, with Taj of course hailing from West Oz and therefore a clear event favourite. He grew up just half an hour north of the wave, so for the first time in his illustrious career he’ll be surfing a WCT event by day and sleeping in his own bed by night.

But fellow Aussie Josh Kerr will also be looking to make the most out of another home fixture, and shake a big result out of Margaret’s infamous bowl. He’s more familiar than most with West Oz and even more familiar with her air wind. Waiting period commences April 2nd and runs until April 13th.
