16 year old ISA world champ Jacob Willcox secured a wildcard spot into the Rip Curl Pro Peniche main event by defeating an all-European field of Supertubos specialists with some brilliant barrel riding skills. As if that wasn’t enough of an achievement, the West Oz Margaret River rising talent then went on to top Kelly Slater in his Round 1 bout this morning. The king was not looking best pleased.
