Gabriel Medina apologises (sort of) for being a bit of a tit after he lost to Glenn Hall in the third round of the Quik Pro Gold Coast. Those weren’t his actual words, because his apology was broadcast live on the WSL webcast, and tit is a naughty word, so we took the liberty of paraphrasing. Not a massive tit, mind, just a little bit of a tit. Apology accepted. We didn’t mind all that much in the first place — everyone acts like a bit of a tit from time to time, in fact it would be boring if they didn’t.

Gabes went on the Morning Show yesterday to tell Ronnie Blakey, Ross Williams and everybody watching at home that the way he went about his post-heat interview was “a big mistake.” He says next time he’ll just punch his surfboard instead.
